Teen Cop

Log line: Teen Cop is a feature-length family drama about a teenage boy who is obsessed with becoming a police officer. His obsession is put to the test when he finds himself in a situation where he must rescue his kidnapped mom.

Synopsis: Fifteen year old Ben Peterson is a good kid, but a troubled young man at the same time. Due to the tragedy that he’s experienced 5 years ago on his 10th birthday, he no longer celebrates the day he was born. He consumes all of his time with being a good person — a good big brother to his sister CC and a good friend to his pretty next door neighbor Chante, who happens to be his age. He even wants to be a good son to his divorced parents who love him dearly. Nevertheless, he is obsessed with becoming a police officer the most, as if somehow that career path will right all of the wrongs in the world. His obsession is put to the test when he finds himself in a situation where he must rescue his kidnapped mom, just after his dad has abandoned the family by moving out of state to take a new job. Will Ben find the peace that he needs in this situation?
